How’s your Carbonated Footprint?
It is HUGELY important for us beer geeks to keep a conscious eye on our beer bellies and maintain an active and healthy lifestyle to help moderate our large rate of carbonated beverage consumption (CBC). The easiest and most responsible way to do that is to simply get outside; play some frisbee, walk the dog, go for a hike or a bike ride, run as fast as you can away from bees. No matter how you do it, reducing your Carbonated Footprint is a fundamental part of enjoying long and jolly life full of CBC.
With this in mind, SIPtemberfest teamed up with the Mad River Path Association (MRPA) a few years back in an effort to help keep our public green spaces open, safe and beautiful to recreate in. Today, the MRPA maintains a great stretch of trails that cater to all walks of life – whether you stroll, strut or sprint. So the next time you feel the need to neutralize your CBC, perhaps you’ll find yourself jogging along the Mad River Greenway or going for a jaunt up the Millbrook Trail. Plus, the MRPA will be at SIPtemberfest ready for new members so it will be a piece of cake to maintain a healthy Carbonated Footprint!
But OMG!!!!! Supporting the MRPA just got even easier because they are also selling raffle tickets right now for a chance to WIN TICKETS TO THE SOLD OUT SIPTEMBERFEST! Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. The drawing is September 16 at their Mad Dash and you need to be present to win so you may as well sign up for a 5 or 10k while you’re at it. The winner of the raffle will get entry for two (including ten tasting tokens and a souvenir glass each,) two t-shirts, two meal vouchers, major bragging rights and more!
So what are you waiting for? Want a raffle ticket – click here! And do your part by not only reducing your Carbonated Footprint and supporting a wonderful local organization, but also increasing the odds that you will be enjoying some serious and quality CBC on September 29! Cheers to that!!
